A letter from the Principal

principal

Dear Robinson Students and Families:

We welcome you to the Robinson Elementary School.  I am very proud of our kind and caring community.  Our entire staff is invested in ensuring that all students are successful learners.  One of the ways we help our students succeed is through building relationships and collaboration.

Our Robinson School staff has been collaboratively engaged in professional learning communities (PLCs) as a way to investigate new curriculum and standards, and share instructional practices.  We are excited about how we are implementing technology, designing lessons to meet expectations outlined in the next generation science standards, and investigating new reading programs.  The work that is done in our PLCs has resulted in the delivery of rigorous curriculum and instructional practices that meet the needs of all students.

Caring relationships ensure that students come to school feeling welcomed.  Relationships between our staff, students and families assist us in promoting a positive school.  In addition, our staff is committed to building relationships with students and families through the use of communication.  Since a home school communication is vital to student success, we encourage you to reach out to your child’s teacher or me via telephone or email should you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for being a part of the Robinson School Community!

Kindest Regards,

Kerri L. Sankey Ph.D., Principal
